George Russell joined the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team at the beginning of the 2022 season, and the team have had a strong year. The team placed third in the Constructors’ World Championship with Russell finishing fourth in the Drivers’ World Championship, having claimed eight podiums - including his maiden F1 victory at the São Paulo Grand Prix.
